Scenarios are available in the directory upload profile: gentle exchange, full source synchronization, update those found and add only new ones.
When to use
Use presets to quickly set secure union directory profile behavior.
Setting procedure
- Open the Union Catalog profile.
- In the upload settings, select the import preset.
- For a regular supplier, usually start with a gentle exchange.
- For a full snapshot, only enable full sync when the source actually contains the full set.
- Check the rules for products, offers, empty fields and missing entities.
- Run test import.
What to check
- Missing items are only removed in scenarios where this is expected.
- Empty values do not accidentally clear important fields.
- New products are created or blocked according to the task.
Notes
- Full synchronization requires careful protection against mass deletion.
- The preset can be adjusted manually after selection.
