How to keep original image names

Original names help associate images with a supplier, product or 1C archive.

When to use

Save names if it is important for the recipient to see familiar file names or if the images are then manually verified.

How to set up

1. Open Image Settings.
2. Enable saving original titles.
3. Check that the source URLs or archive actually contain friendly names.
4. If necessary, enable format conversion: the extension will change, but the base of the name will remain the same.
5. Do a test run.

What will happen

Processed files will be stored with friendly names instead of completely technical names.

What is important to remember

• If different images have the same name, the service should still store them without conflict.
• Invalid characters in the name will be cleared.
