How to convert text to upper or lower case

Text case affects codes, brands, names and meanings of directories.

When to use

Use case conversion if the recipient requires uppercase article numbers or the directory needs to compare values without different spellings.

How to set up

1. Select the text field.
2. Add an action "to uppercase" or "to lower case".
3. If necessary, clear the spaces first.
4. Do not apply the action to fields where case is important as part of the password, token, or code.
5. Check a few lines with Cyrillic and Latin alphabet.

The values will be written uniformly and will be easier to compare with reference books.

What is important to remember

• For product names, full uppercase usually looks rude.
• For articles and codes, a single case is often useful.
