The source schedule is only responsible for retrieving a new version of the source data. Result conversion is triggered by a profile schedule or manually.
When to use
Use a source schedule if the input file needs to be updated automatically.
Setting procedure
- Open the source and the Download Frequency block.
- Select a quick script or fill in minutes, hours, days of the month, months and days of the week.
- Specify the schedule status: active or paused.
- If necessary, set an end date.
- Save the source and check the task in Scheduler.
What to check
- The next launch looks as expected in the Scheduler.
- The user's time zone is taken into account when reading the time.
- A manual source does not require a schedule.
Notes
- The source can be updated more often than the profile if the result is not needed after every update.
- If there are loading errors, look at the last task result in the Scheduler.
