Rolling back a catalog import

When to use rollback, which data is restored and what happens to objects with other sources.

What this page does

Import rollback is used when a profile wrote wrong data into the catalog. Eofferix stores run metadata and can remove the contribution of a concrete import or source without deleting the whole catalog.

How to use it

  1. Open profile interpretation page or run history.
  2. Find the run that wrote data into catalog.
  3. Check affected products and offers.
  4. Start rollback if the import was wrong.
  5. Check the catalog after rollback completes.

Expected result

  • The wrong import contribution is removed or reverted.
  • Objects with other sources remain, but the rolled back source link is removed.
  • The catalog returns to a safer state without manual cleanup of every card.

Common issues

  • Rollback is not a replacement for backup of manual bulk edits.
  • If correct runs happened after the wrong import, choose rollback carefully.
  • Rollback availability may depend on profile type and run status.
